 Classroom Connect and Teacher Quality—Title II
The purpose of Title II: Part A is to provide funding to state educational agencies, local educational agencies, state agencies for higher education, and eligible partnerships in order to increase student academic achievement.

 Funding Panel Discussion
Recently, at the Texas Computer Education Association conference in Austin, Classroom Connect hosted a special event for leaders in education and technology to discuss the passage of the No Child Left Behind Act and its implications on federal and state funding initiatives.

As part of the event, we conducted a roundtable discussion hosted by Dr. Jenny House, vice president of strategic relations for Classroom Connect. Our distinguished panelists included:

• Mr. John Bailey, Director of the Office of Educational Technology, U.S. Department of Education (via videoconference from Washington, D.C.);
• Dr. Linda Roberts, former Director of the Office of Educational Technology, U.S. Department of Education; and
• Dr. Don Knezek, CEO for the International Society for Technology in Education, and the National Education Computing Association.
